Ghost Days

Installation view of the prints from Ghost Days at Banff Centre. Each participant took photos with analogue (film) cameras, then developed them in a caffienol and citrus mixture. One image from each roll was then exposed and silk-screened onto handmade paper infused with sage and sweetgrass. There were 18 editions of these prints which were gifted amongst each-other, to Banff Centre, and one was burned for the spirits.

Spirits_Process

Spirits_Process is a video response to the collaborative experimental audio piece created by the artists and facilitator of Ghost Days. It depicts some of the processes used to create our prints on handmade paper. From developing our film in a homemade solution of caffienol, to cutting and scanning our images and screenprinting them onto the paper.
